Obviously, these guards were supposed to be a halfway transition between the blue Senate Guards and the red Royal Guards. Of course once Ep2 came out we learned that both existed at the same time, so oh well. I was gonna repaint this figure with a second coat to make the red brighter, but it wound up matching the torso (from a Saga Royal Guard) very well so i kept it. If I wind up with a figure with a body I can't do anything with (Tessek for example) I may swap out the generic Royal Guard one, and then may paint it brighter red. Who knows? Of course if you want to know sooner, just donate a Tessek to me :)
