The mysterious Aurra Sing was once apprentice to the Dark Woman, the same enigmatic Jedi that took a young Ki-Adi-Mundi under her tutelage. She was a difficult student, but the Jedi Council hoped she would overcome her aggressive nature and bond with the Dark Woman.
Sing failed, and fled the Jedi order. She became a ruthless bounty hunter, specializing in contracts on Jedi Knights. She has collected at least six lightsabers from her fallen foes, and carries a scarlet-bladed saber. She pilots an outdated but highly modified swoop.
Aurra Sing is a laconic humanoid alien with chalk-white skin and long, blood-letting fingers. Surgically attached to her skull is a long, thin sensor implant that aids her in her hunts. Sing is clad in a functional red jumpsuit and wears little armor.
Aurra Sing was a late addition to Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace. Seen as a spectator to the Boonta Eve Podrace, Sing was designed by Doug Chiang in a sketch labeled "Babe Fett." Sing was played by Michonne Bourriague.
