St. Bernards
Yesterday the Varsity played St.Bernards, a team that apparantly, thought they could be us. I believe we beat them 10 nothing last year. This year, we beat them 8-1. Since we were so far ahead, the JV kids got to play. I now have 3 quarters of Varsity time :-). After the game, me and Stef went out to see the Whole Ten Yards. Despite the reviews, it was a very funny movie. The characters were, well, characters. Everyone had a quirk and it was very funny overall. Before the movie, we went to go get dinner. Unfortuately Carrabbas was full, so we went to the sunset diner. I had the Texas Chicken wrap..mmmm. Today, we scrimmaged the Varsity in practice. We were given 3 gimme points, and we won in sudden death. We held them 0-0 in the first quarter, so we really only scored 1 goal, but hey its all good. Later Im going to the Javits Center with my dad to see the car show. Its gonna be sweet.

Rainy Days
Today was another rather rainy day. Our game got cancelled (arg), and hopefully got rescheduled for sometime soon next week or this week. Hopefully our other games wont get rained out too, that wouldnt be too good. After I came home from our highly shortened (though still challenging) lift practice, I finished up what little HW I had and went out with Stef. We went to Panera (still think its the Starbuck's (c) of bread, but hey) and talked. It was really fun, and good to see her again. Its hard to get used to less time together after spring break -_-. Now, Im back home and I just installed my DVD drive, so its movie time!

Hunterdon Central
Today we played Hunterdon Central... The first quarter we held them 1-0 (they scored with 10 seconds on the clock). After that...well, it was not pretty. The final score was 12-0. I think we could have done better, seeing how the first quarter went. Next time, we wont make that mistake (hopefully).

Old Bridge
Today the V and JV both played Old Bridge. The V won 14 or 15 to 3, and we won 4 to 3 in sudden-death overtime. All said, they were both good games, though the V game was much more intense. Food was ordered for after victory, and it was lotsa donuts and chicken. Too bad I had to walk up, there was none left when I got there. Oh well :-p

Good Friday
Today we had practice at 9am in preparation for the game against Old Bridge. Last year was a fun game, despite how the automatic sprinklers kept coming up while we played. This year, I think we can take it to them again. ----------------------------- I checked my SAT scores today, and I did a lil better than before. I scored the same as Stef again . She was kinda down about her scores, but I know she'll definately bring them up alot. I went over to her house to do the Werner vocab, and also just to hang out again. It was good to see her again, even for just a little while. I'm almost done with that, and I only did it because she wanted me to. Otherwise, that vocab book would be back in my bag composting, like it should be haha. Happy Easter to all, and if you dont celebrate, have a good secular Sunday.

New Providence
Today we played New Providence, the team that coach Seigel used to coach. It was a rather rainy day later on (suprising since early in the day it was mad nice), and rather cold. But aside from that, it was a good quarter. I say that because they called it after the first quareter. Both our JV and V teams won. After the game, I came home, showered, and had Stef over . Unfortunately, American Idol wasnt on :-p, but we did watch a little of A Simple Plan (suspense movie?). It was really great to hang out again. We've managed to see each other almost every other day. Im off to eat dinner now, I have practice tomorrow at 9:30. O_O

Yaay!
Today practice was early (1:30 on the field) and it was relatively short. So, I took this opportunity to have Steffy over . The long and the short of it is that it was another amazing day. We went searchin for a spot to rollerblade, then we went back home for dinner and TV. I watched my first episode of American Idol today, and all I have to say is that Simon is a f-cker. Wow, that guy is an a$$. I mean, granted, some of those people dont sing amazingly well, but judging by how he speaks, he cant do any better. But whatever... It was kinda funny, but I dont see why there is this like, cult following of it. The only show that actually had me watch it every time was FLCL (Furi Kuri), and that was during the summer, and it was only 6 episodes. But yeah... she left around 11:30 and now Im off to bed... Its been a great day .

Mondays -_-;;
I do believe i've hit upon a universal truth: mondays suck. I woke up this morning (i use the word loosely) at around 2 and I realized i had practice in less than an hour. So i get showered and ready and I look outside. I think, wow, its an amazingly clear, beautiful day out, so yay. Wrong. Its friiiigin freezing outside. I now look sorta remisicent of a tomato (windburn) from standing outside for practice. Its daaamn cold out. And apparantly, a cold front is comming in, so its getting colder . But aside from that, today was okay. I got back around 6:40ish? i guess, and i just waited for my Dreamcast download to finish. It finished around 8:30 and i began to play it. Tony Hawk Pro-Skater 2 is a pretty damn fun game, shame i suck at it. So i gave up after maybe an hour and moved back to REZ and Ikaruga. After i got bored with those two, I came back to my room and played some CS. After today, all i can think of is saturday the 3rd (my 10 month anniversary with Stef )and what an amazing day that was. She came over after practice, so it was like... 6 or so. We ate dinner, exchanged gifts (she got me two really sweet Ts from Old Navy [hopefully its warmer so i can wear them soon lol]) and we watched School of Rock. That movie was cool, but i was in culture shock. I half expected Orange County with guitars, but i was met with little kids and, well, guitars. So it was a pretty cool movie, and im glad i watched it with Stef. Afterwards, we just hung out, and it was awesome. Hopefully practice ends early enough tomorrow so i can relive that day again. Shes up at Haverford with her sister (her car had a flat) and she visited Upenn and Bryn Mawr(spelling?). She really liked Bryn Mawr, but she isnt sure it offers the major she likes. That sucks, its hard to find a college with both things at once. I really gotta start that whole process, though i dont really look foward to that whole thing. Oh well... Its late and Im now off to bed, and i hope i can see her tomorrow. Here's something that made me smile: -------------------------------------------------------------------- Kids in our school need to read this (if they can)

Bridgewater
Today the Varsity played BR in our first game of the season. Overall, it was a pretty good game, though we could have done better. For like most of the first quarter, we kept the ball rotating on offense, and we held them 1-0 for the first quarter. If we had kept that up, it would have been a much closer game. As it were, it was 2-8 or something, which isnt that terrible, but we could have definately given them a run for their money. Tomorrow I think the JV plays them, and Im hoping ill play good when it comes time. We'll see though.. ----------------------------------------- 10 months with steffy on saturday! I got her super secret stuff, so dont you tell her :-x

Singled Out
Tonight after practice, I went to singled out with Stefanie. We were a little late, but we got to see the karaoke (very funny), and the most importnat, doug being singled out. The questions were funny, but just having doug in that situation was classic. I think does doug watch nascar would have been a good question. After it was over, me and Steffy went to Dunkin Doughnuts, and she got hot chocolate and i got coolatta. mmm... so much sugar lol. Im happy i got out to see her tonight
Spring Break
Spring break is commin up fast, and now its time to get down to work for these last few days (until friday). Once these next days are over, Im off for a week! I have lax practice at the normal time (3:15) and we also have 2-3 games, if you count this weekend as spring break. Its going to be fun. I also will be able to spend more time with my friends because of the lack of school. Its going to be sweet, i think everyone needs this break, though its a bit late in comming. Oh well, atleast its almost here

REZ for Dreamcast
This game has got to be the best game ever created. Granted, its graphics are largely wire-frame and simple polygons, but its not that, its how its presented. The game is all vector based wire-frames with transparency of texture over them. The enemies are a combination of wire-frame and single color shades per side. Your character can level up and change forms, becoming more powerful as you go. Everything you do creates music in the game; putting your crosshair on an enemy, firing, and destryoing them too. Most everything in the game acts as a living visualization for the music; buildings pulse, roads are waveforms, and your character pulses too. Events are also timed to the music (which is a very intriquieing club mix) so thats really cool too. Visually its simple, but the game just immerses you in its universe of colors and great music and sounds. Ill post some screens (though they do it no justice) here.
SATs
Yesterday morning I took my SAT for the first time, and to tell you the truth, it was actually kind of diffiuclt. I remember the PSAT being harder, so hopefully I did significantly better on this one than that. I will most likely take the May one as well, and the SAT IIs in June, and have room for another SAT in October if need be. But hopefully i got a 14something this time around (hahahahahha....riiiighhhtt....) and i wont have to take it again. But ya know.. After SATs i went back to the HS to wait to hand in my lax money from selling the restaurant cards, and then had to go back home to go out with my parental unit. They had planned something for like immediately after, and I had them hold it off so I could hand in the money like coach wanted, but i couldnt stay, and he seemed miffed. .

Scrimmage VS Princeton
Well, this scrimmage was even better than the one VS St.Joes. We were up by one or two in the third quarter, and they put us in for the fourth. It was a fun game, but we had to go to the pep rally afterwards .

Scrimmage VS St.Joe's Part 1
This scrimmage was actually pretty fun. We all got playing time, and I think we played a more consistant game then when we played Montvale. We were pretty close in score, and cant wait till we play them again .

Psychological Criticism Group
Mark, Adam, Chris, Ryan, and Mike, please save this file (right click the link, save target as...) or view it online (recommended only if you have cable or DSL, even then its still easier to keep a copy on your computer). These are all of the informative pages of my psych textbook scanned and in order. Some pages are skipped because they are unrelated. Since im using the book to do my outline and notecards, and you all also need the information, i thought it would fair if i uploaded a copy of the information that I am using. So yeah, come get it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- There it is (I have taken this file down because the project is over, but if you want/need it, i can always repost it)

Insomnia-Faithless
Deep in the bosom of the gentle night is when I search for the light, pick up my pen and start to write. I struggle, fight dark forces in the clear moon light, Without fear... insomnia. I can't get no sleep. I used to worry, thought I was goin' mad in a hurry. Gettin' stress, makin' excess mess in darkness. No electricity, something's all over me, greasy. Insomnia. Please release me and let me dream of Makin' mad love to my girl on the heath, Tearin' off tights with my teeth. But there's no release, no peace, I toss and turn without cease, Like a curse, open my eyes and rise like yeast. At least a couple of weeks Since I last slept, kept takin' sleepers, But now I keep myself pepped. Deeper still, that night I write by candle light I find insight, fundamental movement, uh, So when it's black this insomniac take an original tack. Keep the beast in my nature under ceaseless attack I gets no sleep I can't get no sleep

Chao
Here are some images of my Chao in-game. He has that evil smile because I tried to kill it once because my other chao, Swooby, died when I paid more attention to Uchao. So I got pissed and tried to kill Uchao. That aside, he's forgiven me, but since I did that when he was young, he retains his aggression (hence the evil smile). Here's some pics of Uchao (forgive the quality, frame saves of a screened video with my camera). You can also take your Chao from the game, and put it on the VMU (visual memory unit). That is Dreamcast's memory card, but with a screen and buttons, kinda like an old school Gameboy, but smaller and cooler. Here is some stuff on the VMU.
