I really enjoy web comics. Here are the ones that I read regularly:Bob and George is the original "Sprite Comic". It's mainly about Megaman and his adventures across the 8, 16 and 32 bit world. The author sometimes takes an active role in the action. Oh, and occasionally, a couple of guys called "Bob" and "George" show up, too. Updated weekdays. Probably the best sprite comic out there, 8 Bit Theatre follows the heroes of the original Final Fantasy. You have to love that wacky Black Mage. Updated Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. RPG World! Not a sprite comic. It's life inside a console RPG, not unlike Final Fantasy 7. It's got a very nice storyline, too. Come for the humor, stay for the plot. Updated Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Adventurers is the other comic depicting life inside a console RPG. This one relies on joke-a-day strips with little overarching plot. It's like a living dictionary of RPG cliches. Updated Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. From the maker of Adventurers! comes Antihero for Hire, the story of a Canadian crime fighter and his really big gun. Villians thwarted for as low as $39.99! Updated Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. A comic by gamers, for gamers. Sometimes very, very funny, other times, not. Always geeky. Usually updated on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Click here to go back to the links index. Or here to go back to my main page. |
