Information

The seventh of the last generation of the D'Aenzia family. Six Marriages. The first born male of all of the families has a Birthmark on his left eye. All of them share the same year of birth. Coincidence marked the come of the seventh first born male. Esteban's Father was a Starfleet officer on a ship that operated on the Alpha quadrant. He met with a beautiful Bajoran woman who fell in love with him at the first sight. This love between the two of them never came to a marriage, as they both took a different path a year later.

Esteban was born somewhere in space, on a ship traveling between Bajor and Earth. His mother gave the order to return him to his father, a few weeks after birth. The now Captain Fernando D'Aenzia received his child on the USS Windrose. Ktiara Lina, the mother, sent a message stating that it was too dangerous to keep the child in that part of the galaxy, and that she would return, one day. Shocked by the news, he renounced to his post as Captain to take care of his son.

The young halfbreed grew happily among his cousins. The mark they wore on their faces gave them something to be proud of. As soon as Esteban was old enough, his father told him the story about how he was born. Esteban, after knowing this knew that he was going to find out where his mother was. The Dominion War was on its highest peak. Lots of ships were lost so most people thought that Lina had died. The records of all the lost federation Ships were there, but none of them had Esteban's mother's name on it. The chance is still there.

After graduating from High school, Esteban began preparing himself for Starfleet Academy. He knew beforehand what he wanted to be. A weapons specialist. So Tactical was the most obvious department for him to choose. He studied all he could about phasers, torpedoes, shields, hulls and armor. Also some Alien Technology, but since most of that kind of information was classified he only knew about the raw basics. He entered Starfleet Academy to learn more.

And so he did.

After graduating as the first of his class, he was assigned to the USS Behemoth (Sovereign class), a ship that patrolled the Cardassian Border. That same year, he was transferred to the USS Baggins (Sabre class) which only did patrol missions. Esteban asked for a transfer to another ship after a month full of boring and routine protocol stuff. His response came in as a blessing from the skies. After being transferred to the Nebula class ship, the USS Lancelot, the news about the destruction of the USS Baggins by some hostile group of space pirates came in.

LIKES:
Honest, open-minded people. Bajoran and Earth Music.

Hypocrites, Food that keeps jumping out of the plate.

Command his own Ship.
TALENTS:
Good ear for music, his physical strength rises a little above the average. When he puts his mind into learning something, he does.
LIMITATIONS:
Keeping his thoughts to himself.
STRENGTHS:
Always willing to help his companions when they're in need. Able to make fast decisions when under pressure. Learning anything new, does adapting fast to any situation.
SPECIAL ABILITIES:
Fast Reflexes.
QUIRKS:
Wears mostly black clothes. Tends to yell out "DOOM!!" sometimes, just to annoy his companions.
HOBBIES/INTERESTS:
Reading fantasy novels (Weis/Hickman, Tolkien, Jordan) and spending time on the holodeck reliving this same stories (has been Legolas, Raistlin and The dragon Reborn).

Psychiatric Profile

Esteban is a very determined person. His Bajoran background inflicts some kind of "peace keeping" effect on him. The fact that he was raisd by his father alone has had some effects in his behaviour against women. When being approached by one, he behaves the same way he does when talking to a man at first, and has some problems understanding the female behaviour (but then again, which man doesn't?) This is the only major thing I noticed about him. All around he someone with a heart of gold who can be trusted.

Father, you are the best father a son can wish for. I will follow your example until the day I perish.
Mother... Somehow the Bajoran blood that runs through my veins tells me you're out there somewhere. I won't rest until I know what has become of you. I will find you, so I can give you all the love I have not been able to give you since the day I was born.
