that "The Light" is
NOT the force in any way, shape, or form.
It is a completely
separate concept.
This also means
that the actual concept of "The Light" as well as "The Dark" are not
restricted to
the Star Wars Genre i.e. "The Force" and can apply to fantasy and sci-fi
realms as well.
The
Concepts of The "Light"
The Light is believed to be an Ancient form of
magic used long ago, but was long forgotten.
The Light is often called that, due to its brilliant
purple glow that surrounds the Wielder of it...
The Light is based on the fact that everything
is composed of molecules and that many of them wander
around with nothing to attach or form to...the
Wielders and Masters can harness this power
and give the molecules a direction, and a purpose.
The main purpose of The Light is used for defense
This meaning either defending yourself
from harm, or another from harm. The Light can work
in both offensive and defensive manners, the goal
of course is NOT to kill unless you have
no other alternative, mainly to subdue,
rather then destroy an opponent in battle.
The
History of The Light Before Val
The Light was stumbled upon by the inhabitants
of Endor. It is believed
that humans existed at one time a very long time
ago..learning of The Light.
They built temples in secret to honor its powers
that it bestows upon
those who favor it. Though they worshiped the
concepts like a god. The worshipers could never
utilized the powers from it, but gaze upon the
few splendors it did display to them, in various events.
Which were nothing more then isolated incidents.
To the worshipers however, they were "signs" and
they were recorded in books, charts and maps,
so that someday another might be able to understand
what they knew and expand upon their findings.
For years The Light was untapped and soon forgotten
until......
The
Light's Rebirth
(Val)
After the disband of the Dark Jedi Academy, and
after the destruction of the Death Star, Valaryc went into
hiding....empty, full of grief...for he had lost
his purpose which was find his family's killer
Gen's killer...he did...having killed Krevlin...he
was without a cause.
He returned to Endor...where he wandered deep into
the forests. Quite on accident, he stumbled onto
a stone wall with ancient carvings. Something
deep within him told him how to open the stone door.
He lifted his hand and the panel slide back...a
rush of air, bound for so long breezed by him.
He entered the cave, where there were books and
maps, everywhere the eye could see...drawings, diagrams
and charts...but something caught his eye...a
shimmering rainbow of light
reflecting on the ceiling. He approached the ray,
and a book fell infront of him...
he picked it up and looked at it.
It told of ancient elements he had never heard
of before that Endor had many many years ago.
He marveled at the amount of detail...this awakened
a burning desire in him...he picked up another book...
but could not translate its ancient script....another...the
same......
Slightly frustrated he walked back to the point
of light. Brushing the cobwebs away, his hand struck
something...then pain rushed through him, he looked
down and noticed his hand was cut deeply...
the blood flowing on to the floor. Suddenly
strange lights flashed, purple flames erupted...
engulfing him in them...entering every inch of
his body, into his bloodstream itself...
bonding with his essance....becoming a part of
him.
Val could not handle the dominant forces overtaking him....he passed out. While he was unconscious, The Light completely bonded with his DNA, restructuring his genetic code within its own. This making Val not just another "wielder" of The Light, but an actual living being infused with its very essence. When Val awoke his eyes were crystal clear as he glanced to the book again....he could read the text!
He understood everything in the room! Every chart...every
map! He looked for what had cut him. A sword...
a sword with a blade forged of what appeared to
be solid dazzling light...a metal so receptive and reflective
to light, that when exposed the blade fills the
entire room in a vibrant display of color.
Years passed while he was in the cave...he read the books, charts, maps...he learned the sword was known as "Destiny". Its metal is so durable it can cut through the strongest steel and the hardest stone.
He also learned of the powers the Light can give
the user.(see below). When he had felt he had fully
understood The Light's limits and possibilities...he
took the term "Master", the full power of The Light
so long forgotten was now at his command and is
the strongest only to his blood.
Truly he earned the right to call himself "The
Master of The Light".
As time passed he learned how to transfer the Light
to others, by a technique known as "blood binding"
(see Versai Creed Page)...where he could transfer
some of the Light's powers to others.
Of course only he may be the MAIN Master
of the Light, for he was the one to release its
full potential from its long slumber.
One who is given this gift is known as a "Keeper"
one who uses uses
this power other than Val is known as a "Wielder"
Thus......The Light was been reborn...rediscovered..and...resurrected.
The
Cost of Using The Light
This runs on the theory of molecular balance...if
you tap the molecules in the atmosphere and over exert
its delicate balance, the Light takes your strength
in return.
This only taxes you if you use the healing properties
to close a major wound that would take alot of
molecules to repair, be it weakness, loss of blood,
tearing of a organ..etc. etc.
The most taxing and most powerful healing power is known as
If this is used on another...the user will suffer
extreme fatigue, often falling unconscious for quite some time...
recovering as he/she sleeps...if used to resurrect
yourself...you will be fully charged with
power, able to do amazing things...but once at
peace, the user loses consciousness and collapses...
again his/her body healing itself while the user
sleeps.
WARNING!!!!
If used too often at one time, the user can
over exert themselves and slip into a comma....
if this happens the user must fight internally
to stay alive, while the people around them...
fight to bring the user out of it.
Golden Rule of the Light
The more bigger/extravagant the power/object you
make...the more molecules you tap, and the more
taxing it will be on your strength. Use The Light
with care...little things like flowers, drinks...
they do not take much...but lightning, fire, shields...these
do take their toll.
