OVERVIEW
The TME-06 Russian Bear is a heavy command tank designed to spearhead armored assaults. Protection and enough speed to keep up with other heavy tanks were the orders of the day for the Bear.
CAPABILITIES
With average heavy-tank speed, heavy armor, and a respectable array of weaponry, it has the force to participate in such assaults. Being well protected from enemy missiles by three antimissile systems and from tank-hunter infantry by three machine guns, it is a respectable, if somewhat large, steed for a company or battalion commander. A large forward command "deck" provides an unusually spacious area for commanders to plan and coordinate their battlespace.
DEPLOYMENT
Initially sold in 3049 to ComStar, the Russian Bear is not extremely popular due to its lack of a turret. Despite that drawback, it is still a popular tank division commander.
VARIANTS
There are no factory variants of the TME-06, although there are undoubtedly field modifications of which we are unaware.
