OVERVIEW
The TME-106 is a remote border defense and resupply station. Capable of staying five years on station without resupply, it and its 378 crewmembers can maintain border security and restock incoming vessels. Over 235,000 tons of cargo, five docking hardpoints, and an energy storage battery can contain enough supplies and cargo to achieve this mission.
CAPABILITIES
Being a long-duration station expected to last for several months without resupply, the Antipodes is well defended and has sufficient accomodations for its crewmembers. Ten squadrons of fighters can stop light combat vessels from damaging the station while twelve 35-class heavy naval autocannon and thirty six heavy naval particle projector cannon protect the station from capital ships. Seventy-two anti-missile batteries act as a virtual shield against enemy missiles. Three massive grav-decks 300 meters across provide all of the living area needed by the crew, with spacious decks and plenty of hydroponic gardens.
VARIANTS
All Inner Sphere states and Clans have expressed an interest in the Antipodes. A Clan variant is equipped with more efficient anti-missile systems and a hyperpulse generator for FTL communications.
