OVERVIEW
The TME-115 Ferret nominally provides electronic warfare support to both infantry and light armor units but was initially intended to support the TME-114 Armadillo light infantry support vehicle. As with Armadillo, TME sells the rights to produce this simple vehicle locally. Two standard Ferret variants exist, the Slinker and the Sniffer, both of which are armed with a machine gun but differ in their combat electronics packages.
VARIANTS
The Ferret Slinker carries Guardian electronic counter-measures suite. It is distinguishable from its cousin by the boxy ECM pod on top.
The Ferret Sniffer fulfils its radar scouting duties with a Beagle active probe. It is distinguishable from its cousin by the round radome on top.
DEPLOYMENT
Both the Sniffer and Slinker find common use in Armadillo battalions and light armor reconnaissance platoons.

DESIGNER'S NOTES: Ferrets may support Armadillo platoons by replacing Armadillos. For example, one may have 20 Armadillos with 4 Ferret Slinkers and 4 Ferret Sniffers for support to have a full-strength platoon (20+4+4=28). However, Ferrets may not fire standard infantry weapons as they have none. Therefore, in the above example, standard infantry weapon attacks would be resolved as if from a platoon of 20 men instead of 28. This of course precludes Ferrets from unbuttoning and therefore Ferrets NEVER take double damage.
