OVERVIEW
The TME-116 Basilisk provides long-range support for infantry, light armor, and Armadillo units. Armed with a long-range missile five-rack with sufficient ammunition, the Basilisk is an inexpensive weapons platform. However, the Basilisk is very thinly plated and should fire from protected posistions due to its fragility. The Basilisk's ability to give indirect-fire support to infantry and armor should offset this problem, however.
VARIANTS
A common field variants removes two-thirds of the Basilisk's ammunition in order to add armor. The downside is that the Basilisk then has a minimum on-field combat endurance of only one minute before its ammunition wells run dry.
