OVERVIEW

The TME-121 Resolver gunship is based on the "Rapier" VTOL gunship used by Core forces in the Total Annihilation S/TS.  It is also a break from standard Technology-Manufacturing-Energy design philosophy due to its reliance on ammunition-fed weapons and its rather weak armor.  However, like the TME-120 Brawler, it is VTOL capable and can hover about the battlefield.

CAPABILITIES

The TME-121 is armed with twin Thunderbolt 15-class medium range heavy missile launchers.  The Thunderbolt launchers are equipped with enough ammunition for two full minutes of continuous maximum fire.  While this is a considerable amount of ammunition, this and its below-average fuel supply still limits the Resolver to set supply lines.

DEPLOYMENT

The TME-121 is considered a tactical counter to the TME-120 Brawler due to the Resolver's longer reach.

DESIGNER'S NOTES:    Yes, it is an Core Rapier gunship, copyright Cavedogs.  Stats are mine.

VTOL RULES:    The Brawler may operate in VTOL mode, moving like a helicopter instead of like an Aerospace fighter.  However, each movement point costs 3 fuel points.  Standing still costs 2 fuel points.   Obviously Aerospace 2 rules are far more forgiving when it comes to fuel endurance.
