OVERVIEW
The TME-124 Boomer is a tactical artillery support submarine. Equipped with the "underwater jet engine" typical of TME subs, it is defensively armed and carries three Arrow IV artillery missile launchers along its spine. While the TME-124 is optimized to use a Piranha Swarm medium-range torpedo twenty-rack on a ventral turret, the Piranha Swarm can be replaced by twin long-range torpedo five-racks and a short-range torpedo four-rack.
DEPLOYMENT
The TME-124 is used to harass ground formations near large bodies of water and also act as long-range support for naval battles.
VARIANTS
The TME-124-A removes an artillery missile launcher and uses the freed-up tonnage to use a typical extralight engine and mount a long range torpedo five rack and a short range torpedo six rack in the nose.
