OVERVIEW
The TME-137 Teal Hawk is a heavy space superiority fighter based on the "Teal Hawk" used in the Silent Death S/TS. Well armed with superb anti-aircraft weaponry, the Teal Hawk is an exceptional aircraft-killer and atmospheric fighter.
CAPABILITIES
Twin 10-class shotgun autocannon in the nose provide most of the muscle the TME-137 uses to down its opponents, but four medium pulse lasers can quickly whittle down an unwary opponent that strays too close. Eighteen tons of standard armor plating shield the Teal Hawk's sturdily built components from harm, while an advanced next-generation ultralight-engine gives the Teal Hawk the agility it needs to succeed in its mission.
DEPLOYMENT
This sturdy fighter is currently serving in several heavy fighter squadrons across the Inner Sphere.
VARIANTS
The TME-137-A uses a 260 XL powerplant, slowing the acceleration profile to 3G and 4.5G and freeing up enough tonnage for a rear mounted medium laser.
