TME-164 Sheridan Medium Tank

The TME-164 Sheridan is a new medium tank design that shares a striking resemblance to the 20th century Merkava main battle tank of the Israeli Defense Force (IDF). It is a simple, traditional tank design with a main gun and coaxial secondary weapon on a fully traversing turret. What makes the Sheridan unique is its advanced components. Powered by an extra-light 300-class engine, the Sheridan can easily keep up with medium and light 'Mechs, and 9 tons of advanced heavy ferro-fibrous armor protect it. The TME-164/GR mounts a standard Gauss Rifle in its stead with forty rounds of ammunition; for those with a penchant for rapid-fire autocannons, the TME-164/UAC mounts a heavy rapid-fire autocannon with over two minutes of ammunition at full automatic fire; for those who prefer the new rotary autocannon, the TME-164/RAC carries a rotary autocannon with over five minutes of ammunition at full automatic fire. Also, heavy ferro-fibrous armor is hard to come by and is therefore very expensive, so the TME-164-A "economy" model with standard ferro-fibrous armor is availiable, complete with /GR, /UAC, and /RAC variants.
