OVERVIEW
The TME-23 Tomahawk is a reworking of the venerable WHM Warhammer series. Since the end of Warhammer production, TME has been selling the TME-23 as well as some... "classic" chassis. The Tomahawk is an upgunned version of the Warhammer, and a safer ride as well.
CAPABILITIES
It is actually five tons lighter than its parent design but actually better equipped. It is armed with two large pulse lasers in the arms, six medium lasers in the torsos, and a short-range missile six-rack in the right torso. Endo steel lightens the frame as second-generation Cellular Ammunition Storage Equipment protects the vulnerable extra-light engine from ammunition explosions. A Multi-Trak II system allows for superior targeting against a large variety of targets. The Tomahawk also has superior armor protection, carrying the maximum 13.5 tons of armor its frame can carry. Additional protection is provided by a Guardian ECM system and targeting acquisition gear allows for accurate artillery fire support.
The Tomahawk, like its parent, still has a dangerous heat curve if all weapons are fired at once. However, if the weapons are used judiciously, they can be quite effective.
DEPLOYMENT
Since the end of the WHM series, the TME-23 has taken up its mantle and is extremely popular.
