OVERVIEW
The TME-29 Outlaw is a hard-hitting scout 'Mech. Heavily armed, well armored and mobile, it is one of the best scout platforms ever. Introduced in 3050, it quickly brought rave reviews.
CAPABILITIES
An extended-range particle projection cannon, an unusual weapon for such a small chassis, provides unparalleled long-range firepower. Five medium lasers give it the ability to tear apart larger targets at close range. An extra-light engine gives it above-average speed, and six jump jets propel it over impassible obstacles. Nine tons of armor protects its internal structure, and its narrow profile makes it hard to hit. Even with ten double heat sinks, this 'Mech can run hot at times, and triple-strength myomer lets it excel even when overheating.
DEPLOYMENT
The Outlaw is prized for its nimbleness and combat performance. Two company-size mercenary units, Rognar's Rangers and Beto's Banditos, are comprised almost wholly of TME-29 Outlaws. These mercenary units are gaining prestige due to their skill at raiding missions. One notable trait of the TME-29 Outlaw is that the particle projector cannon can be held in either hand.
