The TME-58 Plague was initialy created to participate in a failed "black ops" raid against Clan space in 3055.  After the discontinuation of the LCT-series Locust line, the TME-58 Plague was put into full production to profit from the popular design.  This upgraded version increases the Locust's already amazing speed by 50% and changed the arsenal to three medium lasers.

The TME-58 is popular all across the Inner Sphere.

DESIGNER'S NOTES:    The Locust drawing is from the 3025 Technical Manual, and the silhouette is from the BattleTech, Second Edition boxed game; both copyright FASA 1986.  The Locust planform (real name unknown) is copyrighted by whoever made the Japanese Anime series "Crusher Joe."  The Locust was not specifically named in the Harmony Gold suit against FASA, but was discontinued to avoid further legal problems.  The statistics are mine.
