"Ripper" Assault BattleMech

ripper.gif (4442 bytes) The Ripper urban assault Mech, developed by Defiance Industries of Hesperus II, is designed to inflict a maximum amount of damage at close range.  The Streak SRM-6 launchers and Large Pulse Laser in its side torsos allow this 100 monster to demolish anything that gets close.  The Titanium claws on each arm allow a Ripper pilot to literally rip an opponent to pieces.  The one weakness the Mech has is in what it is designed for: it is deadly at close range, but can be picked apart at long rang by lighter units. The Mech is best suited to City and urban defence, where its strengths outweigh its weaknesses.
