Albatross deploying Assault Squad

The Albatross AirBorne Personnel Carrier is the final word in tactical mobility.  A modified Rhino chassis with its drive systems removed and attached to a gravitic sled with fusion boosters, the Albatross ABPC is a fully capable strategic (orbit to surface) and tactical (point to point) mobility tool.  It can drop jump pack and grav-chute equipped Marines from high altitudes or actually touch down to drop off its cargo.  Lightly armored, it is dependent upon its speed and agility to survive, although a heavy plasma gun may be mounted on it to improve survivability by discouraging pursuit.

SPECIAL NOTES:  The Albatross can "fly high" similar to a Eldar Grav Tank.  It may drop troops in any location at most 5" from its flight path, but these troops must be equipped with jet packs (standard cost) or grav-chutes (+5 points per model, successful on 3+ on 2D6, failure causes D4 hits of D10 strength).  These troops scatter and must maintain coherency as normal.  The Albatross may hover in place.
