Temporal portals are opening all over the galaxy! Free to travel through
time and space once again the Doctor, Nick and Alf are drawn
to a portal linking Earth 1986 with a world called Styria.

Two visitors have arrived from Styria, and they have plans for both Nick and
Alf. The Doctor meanwhile finds himself transported to Styria - a place he
once visited shortly after his unexpected regeneration. It is on
Styria that the Doctor has to face the consequences of his actions.

Why do the two visitors from Styria look so familiar?
Who is waiting for the Doctor on that planet?
Further more, just who has opened these portals,
and what does it have to do with Nick?

".. this is easily one of Frankham’s best stories yet. Perhaps his impending
collaborative adventures will showcase his skill even better. He is fast
becoming an excellent writer, and under his increasingly mature leadership,
The Legacy can only get better; if he personally continues this way,
it surely can’t be long before his dream of some published work arrives."

- Andrew Orton

Ruins of Self, part the first

"Earth's Pride" has crash-landed on a unknown planet.
The Doctor has awoken only to learn two things;
one, something is very wrong with his body,
and two, he is very much on his own!
Or is he? Can there really be someone
waiting in the wings?

Nick and Alf have also woken up to find that they
seem to be prisoners of a hostile alien race.

Emotions that have been bubbling under the surface
are about to erupt. Loyalties are about to be
put to the ultimate test. And questions are about
to be answered. Whether they want to be or not!

The first of a two-part story -
and it is make or break time.

"It is excellent playing upon (excuse the pun) fan fictions, mucking
about with things only we know and would understand. Frankham does it
again in the scene in which (gasp!) the Doctor dies, consumed in a ball of
flame. He’s toying with us! I told you he was a swine!"

Ruins of Self, part the second with Betty Medeiros

With the threat of the Cybermen vanquished, trouble still
continues to brew within the Galactic Federation.
Peladon threatens to fully withdraw from the Federation
unless the Martian Empire apologises for its
crimes against that once rich planet.

But the Martian Empire is reaching its own crisis point.
Commander Xzalnyr and his Honour Guards wish to convince
Emperor Izlyr of the need to honour Peladon's request.
Somewhere else in the Empire a warrior emerges whose sole aim
is to restore their race to full and absolute power. Whatever the means...

Following the events on Voga, Nick is no longer certain about
anything and decides to take some time out. Alf is concerned
but is sent on an important mission by the President of the
Galactic Federation. A mission that Nick would be perfect for.

Meanwhile, the TARDIS has vanished from Alpha Centauri.
Could it have something to do with the strange man who
has arrived on Peladon to help the Pels
against a forthcoming Martian invasion?

"They’re both great, of course: Frankham’s eye for visual detail continually
astounds; Medeiros’ gorgeous technique of writing makes me want to write with her."

- Andrew Orton

Unhappy Ending with Greg Miller

Nick has been left pondering Alf's proposal. He knows that he wants
to marry her, but he has his doubts. Alf is getting impatient,
awaiting a response. Before any wedding can take place, though,
the Doctor has a problem of his own. The Time Amulets have malfunctioned,
bringing to Alpha Centauri a monster from the past!

It is not the only thing from the past threatening to upset the
celebrations. An old enemy waits in the wings, biding their time
before they strike. But just who is the target?

The Doctor, Nick or Alf?

For at least one these will soon be experiencing an Unhappy Ending!

The shocking season finale!

"There’s a danger when writing these double-length episodes that you end
up with two normal ones glued together (see Resurrection of the Daleks or the
"Father Ted Christmas Special" for examples!); the pacing ends up being
wrong, you get a beginning a middle and end then another beginning middle
and end in one chapter, and it generally just feels wrong. You can’t just stick
two things together and expect them to make sense as one story. Here Frankham
shows us how it should be done. This is, without doubt, one episode. It’s extended,
it runs longer, it’s full of incident; but it’s structured to within an
inch of its life. And I love it for that."

Time and the Doctor with Greg Miller

The Doctor is alive – hanging on by a thread!
The sole desire of resolving the issues between him
and Alf are preventing him from undergoing an
urgently needed regeneration.

Alf, too, survives. Overwrought by the death of her husband
she seeks solace in the only place it can be found – home.

Meanwhile in the UNIT infirmary, a body lies waiting.
And within that body – the vampire God, Ashgotoroth!

"I also applaud the writing, especially the imagery in this story. Andy
is a very visual writer, and sprinkled throughout this entire story are numerous
passages that conjure vivid and memorable mental pictures."
- Betty Medeiros

The Dommervoy Masterplan (story by Richard Dinnick & Andy Frankham)

Three and a half years ago the Doctor was forced to undergo
his third regeneration five years too soon. As a result the universe
destabilised, causing the disappearance of the Time Lords
and the creation of the Millennium People.

Also brought into being were the Dommervoy, mysterious creatures
who eat the paradoxes that came about as a result of the universal upheaval.
The Dommervoy have continued to appear at strategic times throughout
the Doctor’s journey, almost as if they have something bigger in mind for him.

On the anniversary of his death, the Doctor returns to the Eye of Orion to
visit his final resting place. A shocking truth is revealed,
but even the Doctor does not anticipate the incredible adventure that follows.

"The Dommervoy Masterplan as an anniversary story and a story that
wraps up one phase of the Legacy is an enjoyable, entertaining tale."

- Betty Medeiros
