EXIT STRATEGIES
Dylan, Tyr, Beka and Rev crashland the Maru on an icy planet being chased by Nietzchiens. The Maru is buried under snow and are in some caves where these big worm creatures allegedly live.
Thar be tension onboard because Dylan thinks Tyr is hiding something, and then there's poor screwed up Rev, whose insides seem to be digesting themselves because he's soooooo hungry.
Appartenly back on the Magog homeworld Rev had some fun eating people and now he's paying for it. He makes a series on rather disturbing noises throughout the show.
Back on Andromeda Trance and Rommie are clearing up dead Magog. Rommie tells Harper thay could use some help but he just shoots them a lot. Later Rommie stumbles on Harper about to shoot himself, having drunken the entire crate of something. She manages to talk him out of it, saying she's broken or something and desperatly needs him to fix her. He says he can't go anywhere the Magog attacked him.
Back on the planet Dylan has gone to the surface and is ambushed by the bad guys. Tyr saves him. Dylan accuses Try of being the reason the Maru was chased in the first place. He is right. Handily Beka has found some kind of projection tunnel deal (Sorry I'm not being clear - it wasn't a very clear episode!) and escape to freedom.

Review
You'd expect a breather after the
wild season opener, but no. Though it is toned down a little, Exit Strategies
still has some decent action as well as some 'dealing'.
However, the situation on the icy
planet is actually less interesting than what's going on back on Andromeda. The
reasons the Nietzscheans are attacking is unclear. Perhaps I just missed it.
Then the whole escaping plan is vague and sketchy. Rev's problems are
interesting. He is paying for what he did on the Magog homeworld, physically and
mentally.
On Andromeda Harper is not
handling his own situation too well. After drinking a whole case of beer he
actually borders on suicide - though whether he would have gone through with it
if Rommie hadn't interrupted is another matter. This episode seems to be so
Harper can get used to the fact that life goes on. Rommie is his main argument
for not giving up and her sentiment is a nice touch. She needs her engineer.
