LAVA AND ROCKETS
Dylan is being chased by Ogami mercenaries - big bads that won't stop until they've killed their target. Not a good start for Hunty boy. He hijacks a tourist ship with the pilot - an attractive - just Dylan's type - blonde, Molly still on board.
Tyr returns to Andromeda. He was also being chased but the two decided to split up and the Ogami went after Dylan. Rommie has an inkling that Tyr abandoned her Captain but they set about finding him anyway by taking the Maru.
Tyr explains that Ferahr, an old friend of his les them into an ambush so they go to have words.
The Ogami catch up with Dylan and Molly and the ship is damaged - they can't enter Slipstream. They need some rare stuff to power something and land on a planet where they steal what they need after Molly tries (Not very enthusiastically) to escape her 'captor'. It doesn't work. They get back to the ship and Slipstream, allowing Rommie to detect them.
Eventually Andromeda rescues the ship, blah, blah, blah, Dylan and Molly get it on, Harper deals with Trances new look and everything is just great.

Review
My god this episode sucked. If
there's one thing Andromeda does not do well (No matter who is producing it)
it's love stories. Okay, I know you could hardly classify this craptacular
episode as a love story but I don't know what else to call it. I suppose it's
something that the 'love story' didn't end in the lover dying, or betraying the
other.
Lava and Rockets is for those
fans who like meaningless explosions and Dylan getting some. It lacked
everything. One is not amused.
