ANGEL DARK, DEMON BRIGHT
It seems a little unlikely that Dylan would return to his time (more or less), let alone so easily as to come across it in Slipstream. Nevertheless, they managed it and faced the dillema of whether or not to interfere with history.
Harper takes matters into his own hands, behind Dylans back, because of his hatered for the Nietzcians and the fact that he believes that he'll save millions of lives by killing off half the Nietzcian fleet. This is another little insight into Harper's character.
Time travel is always confusing, no matter which route you take. There is of course, the cause and effect way of thinking where everything you do, no matter how small will affect the future. And then there's the 'you can't change the past' ploy, which is which route this episode took. Even though Dylan stopped Harper's plan, he discovered that he had already done it, and so they must do it again. Like I said - confusing.
