The current contest is The LAWSON SHORT STORY CONTEST! The Rules and Regulations are listed:
1. To enter, submit a short story via email to bodegage@hotmail.com with the subject name LAWSON SHORT STORY CONTEST!
2. Stories should be about 1,000-6,000 words long and must have a title!
3. Stories are about the LAWSON character. However, they can ABSOLUTLY NOT interfere with Jon's LAWSON VAMPIRE SERIES! If the stories do they will be disqualified.
4. Any story with excessive profanity or abusive language will be disqualified.
5. Contest Deadline: April 15, 2003! NO Exceptions! The stories will be read and judged shortly after!
The winner of this contest will recieve some prizes! They are as follows:
1. The winning story and the two runners up will be posted on Bodegage's Jon F. Merz Fansite
2. The page containing the winning story and the two runners up will be linked off of Jon's home site: http://www.zrem.com
3. The winner will participate in a one on one online chat with Jon F. Merz! This chat will be hosted on the chat room at The Merz Legacy!
4. The winner will also recieve a copy of THE FIXER cover flat. This cover flat has Jon's name spelt wrong and no reviews from Robert B. Parker or Mort Castle. This collectors item will also be signed by Jon F. Merz!
