Kimber's Tale:
Kimber was born in the jungle marshes of Q’Barra living near the lizardfolk tribes until his family and their community was almost wiped out in a vicious attack by the Blackscale lizardmen tribe. After being forced from their home Kimber’s family settled in the Talentia Plains among the tribes of the warrior halfings. Kimber spent much of his time with his father learning the skills of tracking and hunting and training with his favorite weapon the bow.
Eventually the years passed and Kimber was old enough to travel on his own and it wasn’t long before he found himself along the edges of Valenar and their skirmishes during the Last War.
Seeing how war affected those around him Kimber took upon himself to enlist for the nation of Cyre hoping that he was able to help protect the new home he had grown to love against the onslaught of the Karrnathi army. It wasn’t long after he had joined that he met the elf Tai and soon after the warforged Sunder.
The group seemed quite adept at working together despite their racial differences many times they proved a great team harassing the enemies of Cyre time and time again. Of course nothing they did could ever help the country they fought for once the Day of Mourning arrived. They had been tracking a group of Karrnathi soldiers back towards one of their bases in an attempted to assassinate one of their leaders. Kimber had felt something odd about the day itself and though he couldn’t place it he knew that something was wrong. The answer came to him in a large magical blast that destroyed the country and almost claim Kimber and his friends.
Now the war is over Kimber and Tai found each other quickly after the Day of Mourning and it was long afterwards they came upon Sunder standing quietly in a field unsure of what he was supposed to do. After a long talk of freedom and discovering his purpose Sunder agreed to join the two and they began traveling Khorivare looking for a purpose of their own.
