Anya / Anyanka
Anya, originally the Vengeance Demon Anyanka, was called upon in season 3 to seek vengeance on Xander for cheating on Cordelia. After her power source was destroyed by Giles in an alternate universe she became mortal and was forced to live out her life and eventually die without her powers. Soon after, she became involved with Xander, and her love for him changed her perspective on men. Though still blunt and lacking some of the more human subtleties, she has found her niche in the world in the form of retail shop keeper at the Magic Box.
