After I finished making him, I considered Gargachyyk to be a bit of a failed custom. In retrospect he's not that bad, but he didn't come out the way I'd hoped. Made him with a biggest Wookiee figure available, but his head isn't bushy enough. The character has short, smooth fur on is face, and then big bushy fur on his head which hiding the eye patch string. I tried to mask it by adding white highlights to the fur, which I also used to make it look like his outer braids come from his mustache. I don't think he's meant to have them on his fur - it was probably the lighting - but it at least gives him some fur depth. His bandoliers are also fairly inaccurate, but they were all I had. They don't, in fact, even connect in the back, but are glued on. It's a shame, I was really looking forward to this guy, but then again, I've made much worse :)
