In the early days of customizing, one of the more popular customs was to take an DS Gunner head and stick it on a C-3P0 body to make M-3P0. I never made one, as I usually wait for something a little more defintive than a novel description (unless of course it's very detailed) A picture of M-3P0 was released a few years ago in the Essential Guide to Droids, and the head looked nothing like a DS Gunner helmet. As usual with me, however, extra parts means I try to push it a little bit. I used a Saga DS Gunner helmet and cut off the clamshell parts, then glued it onto the front of C-3P0's face. This is one of the few times that the figure looks better in the scan than it does in real life :)
