Summary: um. angst?
Notes: Written for challenge 100 from a Virginia Woolf quote: "Things have dropped from me. I have outlived certain desires; I have lost friends, some by death... others through sheer inability to cross the street."
Oz passed through LA, on the way to visit the crater that used to be home. He stopped for coffee, and leaned against Bessie's hood to drink it and watch the passers-by.
A tall man on the other side of the road wore an eyepatch, and shrugged in a way that made Oz's throat ache with remembrance. That same movement when Oz had told Xander he was going to kiss him. That same movement when he'd announced his intentions to leave.
Oz wanted to see him again, touch him again. But by the time the traffic cleared, he was gone.
