Notes: So I haven't written anything for this in ages, if ever, and today I had thermal questions to do, so, y'know.
Written for this drabble challenge community. Challenge on the theme of sacrifice.

This is the day he was born for, the day he has been living for, and there is nothing he will not do. He has given up all his choices. He has given up every freedom he could have had and every innocence he once possessed, that he may kneel at the feet of the Dark Lord and vow his faithfulness.

He's given up so much already that when they tell him his target is Snape - the only man he ever respected, the only teacher he wanted to emulate - he doesn't think twice. He knows what to do.
