Notes: Remus, his influences and his decisions.

When Remus was three, he met a "big doggy". Later, as he lay recovering in his bed, his father sorrowingly told him about discrimination and how he was forced to wear a yellow star as a mark of his difference.

Remus decided to avoid dogs and stars, especially in combination, from then on - they were instruments of suffering and harbingers of doom, which brought him only heartache and pain.

When Remus was eleven, he met a boy. Later, as they lay wakeful in their beds, the boy excitedly told him about his namesake, the dog-star.

Remus changed his mind.
