Of course, this leads me to the thought of a series of fics involving the family and varied hunting methods. like one with fledge-William killing too quickly for Angelus' tastes. one with Dru making the victim do things prior to eating. Darla being a whore again. a family trip to stock the larder. a big chase. a... see? ideas! fucking bunnies going and... well, fucking like bunnies.

alternate ending to Fool For Love

This is why tidying up is a good thing. I found a piece of paper from a while back with a good idea on it, and a sketch of the entire fic (including a scene or two). At the end of Fool For Love, when Spike shows up with the shot-gun, he actually kills Buffy. And obviously there are repercussions. He's so broken inside that he goes back to being evil. It's slightly bigger than I would like, because I kind of know what happens with all of them - though they're more like static shots for a few of them, like Giles writing the final entry and drowning himself in scotch.

Morgan - near future slayer

Maybe fifteen years in the future, raised a Slayer, sent to the Hellmouth to deal with a prophecy, joins up with remaining Scoobies to fight big evil - that's my sticking point at the moment. Also that it feels like it should be long. And I can't quite get to the right place for it. Have some plans - Scoobies = Willow (though that was a bit screwed by S6 finale) probably married to Daniel (adult Oz - isn't that a scary thought?) along with Alexander and new wife. No Giles (he may be dead, may be Council), no Spike (see, there's the real problem).

School Easy

Alternate School Hard. Dru died in Prague. Spike came to Sunnydale specifically to kill the Slayer. I'm not sure if he does or not but I kind of hope so.

another near-future slayer

A little later than Morgan, I think. The Slayer mentioned in Fighting the Fight (which, by the way, has been Jossed) - protected by Spike. Unfortunately she's somewhat suicidal - I know, it's predictable, and it wouldn't have much of a structure, and... nyeh. It could work.

Wes, again

It's split into two parts, and is kind of about memory etc. First part is probably mid-season two, after Angel fired them, and second part is post-season three. I'm not sure about it, as of.

Spike/Star Wars

A random thing from a convo with nostalgia. See, Spike's had everyone in BtVS, and Obi-Wan's had everyone in SW, so... It would be your basic constructed fic with writer as omniscient god in the fic, but it could be fun.

Oz/Tara

The giggling in Restless made me think things, but... oh, none of these things are getting written.

Elder vampire from a rival dynasty shows up in town to take over since, well, Aurelius has gone way down. Master was trapped, is now dust. Darla's dust, twice. Angelus is souled. Dru's crazy. Spike's souled and currently crazy. Yay.

Just really want to do Oz right now, for... oh for crying out loud! and I'm not even going to correct it. It's Jim's fault, you see, from my NaNo, he wrote something laconic and I just went "huh." I could do... write Oz.

I want to write R/S! This is going to be a fixture, because I always want to write R/S. My current idea? Well, it's not so much an idea, as a line. "I'm a sick puppy". Wouldn't Siri look good with a spiked collar? Problem being that I'd get too embarrassed to write explicitly, and that's where it's going. Hmm. I guess it could be a joke from him. Huh... hmm. James POV of the two of them? Maybe... I want to do a little Peter POV as well - get out some inferiority shit.

I've decided I want to do something for Oliver, just because the actor's cute. And turns out to be a friend of a friend of a friend. It's as good a reason as any.

Young Mrs Landingham

I'm not sure, really, but I keep wanting to do stuff for West Wing, and having seen "Two Cathedrals" - well. Young Mrs Landingham did rock. Old Mrs Landingham is also cool, but I think it was the Donna connection that alerted me to the potential of Dolores. She really reminded me of Donna. Like, really, and now I'm thinking of some sort of back-and-forth thing, with Dolores challenging Jed back then and Donna challenging Josh now; but the problem there would be that I'm a bit of a J/D shipper, in fic at least, but definitely not Jed and Dolores. Hmm. Ah well. Is concept.

Donna dies

The infamous "red lights" comment that inspired several J/D shippers basically implies that she didn't, on her way to the hospital at the end of S1. Hence... Donna skips a red light, Donna gets in a car accident, Donna dies. I actually wrote this last year, but it was naively written and concentrated on the distraughtness of Josh: so I'm really glad I wasn't posting back then. I might give it another go.

Watched the film - Keanu Reeves, James Spader - and simply could not stop seeing the slashiness. Unfortunately, all I can think of is in the head, be it dreams or fantasies, and I'm not all that keen on that. The film just makes it so easy, though, it's bloody ridiculous.

Reign of Fire

Remember how I see slash in everything now? This is another one. I probably won't get round to writing it, but... Quinn/Creedy, probably about eight years before the bulk of the film - maybe their journey from London, maybe not.

set of letters from one person to another, giving no details because they don't matter, except I've written them all. But I need to revise the entire thing. But I can't be bothered because I'm bored of them. And I think she's a whiny bitch. Joy. It was this massive project for me, and I was so happy when I finished, and then I typed it all up, and now... Aargh. I will send a letter to an agent. I will. Honest.

the book that heard

semi-medieval fantasy world type thing. Supposed to be a book that records conversations. Given as a present to a princess-type, who tells it all the myths and legends of her country. Also talks to her servant, her most persistent suitor, and a male courtesan. Problem at the moment is, the courtesan doesn't show up for a while and he's the one I'm really interested in writing. Oh, and I have no idea how to construct an entire history and mythological system.
