Explanation of the conversion:
History: Mary MacPharran was in the suburb of Denver that was
transported to Battleworld by the Beyonder. Doctor Doom needed volunteers
to become superhuman lackeys and Mary, 98-pound weakling, volunteered.
Doctor Doom found that her body chemistry was perfect for a radiation
treatment he had devised and gave her super-strength and power (Marvel Super
Heroes Secret Wars #4).
She met the Absorbing Man,
and the two hit it off (Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #11).
Titania II was among the villains recruited by Mister Bitterhorn into Mephisto's Legion Accursed. They were used in part of a plot to kill the Beyonder with Mephisto's Beyondersbane weapon, but were delayed by the Thing until the weapon melted down (Secret Wars II #7).
She joined
the Masters of Evil IV under Baron Zemo II in their attack on the Avengers
Mansion (Avengers #273) and battled Wasp and Ant-Man II (Avengers #275).
She later battled the She-Hulk (Solo Avengers #14). She then joined the Frightful Four along side the Wizard, Hydro-Man and Klaw, where she fought the Thing and Ms. Marvel II (Fantastic Four #326-328).
She later sought a rematch with the Fantastic Four (Fantastic Four #333).
She was captured and taken to the Vault. She was among the prisoners who tried to break out of the Vault but were stopped by Freedom Force and the Avengers (The Vault Graphic Novel).
She eventually did escape along with a number of other criminals (Avengers Spotlight #26).
During the Acts of Vengeance she was sent by Doctor Doom to confront Spider-Man and encountered the Puma and was taken
captive (Web of Spider-Man #59).
On her way to the Vault she was freed by Graviton and fought alongside the Brothers Grim, Goliath III and the Trapster (Web of Spider-Man #64-65).
Along with the Absorbing Man, she joined the fifth incarnation of the Masters of Evil under Doctor Octopus in attacking the Avengers mansion while the Avengers were away during the Infinity War, but was met by the Guardians of the Galaxy. She was knocked unconscious by a double full-power blast of Nikki's blast knuckles and the Absorbing Man accidentally became dirt and was blown apart by Charlie 27 (Guardians of the Galaxy #28).
The Absorbing Man then got involved in a plot to try to scare her into going straight, but it was ruined by Spider-Man
(Mighty Thor #448).
Mary has started to show signs of cancer caused by her exposure to radiation when she was given her powers. The Absorbing
Man had her checked into a hospital thanks to Thor and Doctor Jane Foster, despite the risk they they might both end up in jail (Thor II #26-27).
Mary got married to the Absorbing Man in a large, super-villain filled wedding ceremony that was interrupted by the Avengers. Her bridesmaid was Volcana and the best man was the Wrecker III. For the wedding march Klaw played the song ''More Human Then Human'' by White Zombie. (Avengers Unplugged #4).
Crusher and Titania II were last seen at the high class restaurant Heaven's Grill, where they attempted to rob the patrons, but were stopped by Luke Cage and the She-Hulk, who were eating there that night (Heroes for Hire #17).
It was revealed that Titania II is dying of cancer, possibly due to the treatments that gave her her super powers.
Trivia: In the alternate future depicted in What If II #114 Mary married and had a daughter with the Absorbing Man. This daughter inherited her father's powers and became the super villain called Chokehold.
Powers: Titania II's body is super dense, durable and strong. She can lift 90 tons. She can run at speeds of up to 60 mph because of the superhuman muscles in her legs. She is immune to intense heat, cold and most disease. She has become a reasonable hand to hand combatant, but often relies on her strength advantage in combat, leaving her open to highly skilled fighters or those few people who can out muscle her.
