Explanation of the conversion:
History: Rita DeMara's first known activity showed her talent of engineering as she stole a copy of the
Yellowjacket suit from the Avengers Mansion via remote control. She clashed with the Wasp when she caught Rita modifying the Yellowjacket costume for herself, and the Wasp defeated her easily when Rita collapsed in hysteria the first time she tried shrinking (Avengers #264).
She was recruited by Baron Helmut Zemo as an analyst for the Masters of Evil IV, and she worked with the Fixer II on assuring that all of the Avengers were where they wanted them when they wanted them (Avengers #273-276).
The Fixer II had a bit of a crush on her, but she loathed him, and most of her fellow Masters. After her stint in the Masters, she tried to go straight, but the Fixer II was always trying to get her to join him in his plots (Solo Avengers #12).
Rita eventually succeeded in becoming a hero, and even joined the Avengers against the High Evolutionary (Avengers Annual #17).
Rita was among the super-powered women who attacked Captain America and Paladin aboard the S.S. Superia (Captain America #389).
She joined Dr. Octopus's Masters of Evil V, but turned against them in battle (Guardians of the Galaxy #28-29).
She then stowed away on the Guardians of the Galaxy's ship when they visited the 20th century and traveled to their future. He first act was to help save Charlie 27's life (Guardians of the Galaxy #34).
She became a valued member of their team and fought a number of villains. She started to miss the 20th century and sought help from aliens who she hired to transport her back in time. When she arrived in at the Avengers headquarters she was killed by Iron Man.
Powers: Rita is a normal human who wears a suit based on the designs of Henry Pym, and later modified by future technology utilized by the Guardians of the Galaxy. She can fly, change her size and fire electrical blasts from her hands. Her suit has a built in radio.
As a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy she wore a Guardians star, which worked as both a communicator and allowed her to access their ships teleporters.
