Conversion Notes: This package represents the minimum abilities of a sivak draconian from the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons role playing game. Although male and female sivaks have slightly different abilities, they have the same point cost totals. This write-up uses Champions 5th edition rules.
Sivak draconians are the magically corrupted spawn of silver dragons. Draconians have short, stubby tails, lizard snouts, and scaly bodies. Their coloration serves as a dim reminder of the dragons from which they were spawned. Sivaks are a polished silver in color. Female draconians tend to be shorter and more finely built than males.
Sivaks have wings and can fly, unlike other kinds of winged draconians, who can only glide.
Draconians are drawn to dragons and revere them. They serve dragons willingly and eagerly, while only reluctantly serving leaders of other species.
Draconians have life spans that approach 1,000 years. They are immune to all diseases and need little food or water to survive. All draconians love ale and spirits.
Sivaks are the most powerful of the commonly encountered draconians. Both male and female sivaks serve as elite warriors and infiltrators who are highly sought after by evil leaders and other draconians. The males' ability to perform covert operations is aided by their shape shifting ability. The males stand close to 9 feet tall. Females are between 6 and 7 feet tall.
Sivak draconians have shape shifting powers which vary with their gender. Males have the ability to assume the form on those they kill. When they kill someone they can choose at that time to assume their form. If they choose that form they can keep it as long as they want, but once the form is given up they cannot change shape again until they kill someone new. Females can cast an illusion about themselves which makes them appear as anyone they choose, but this illusion is visual only, and may not stand up to close inspection or touch. On the positive side females do not need to slay someone to change shape. Females can also use this ability to blend in with their environment.
When draconians die, the magical energies that are inherent in their bodies are released in a death throe with spectacular and catastrophic effects. A male sivak changes shape when slain, assuming the form of the being that killed it. This death shape lasts for three days, and then the entire body decomposes into black soot. If the sivak's slayer is larger than the sivak or not humanoid, the sivak instead bursts into flame. Female sivaks do not assume the form of those who kill them. Instead, they burst into flames when killed.
