Conversion Notes: This package represents the minimum abilities of a young (16 to 25 year old) green dragon from the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons role playing game. This write-up uses Champions 5th edition rules.
green dragons are one of the smaller and weaker of the common dragon types. It is very intelligent. Although it can survive in any climate, it prefers forests. They can breath a cloud of chlorine gas or attack with their powerful claws and bite.
Although generally considered an evil race of dragons, player characters can play any alignment.
Green dragons are bad tempered, mean, cruel, and rude. They hate goodness and good-aligned creatures. They love intrigue and seek to enslave other woodland creatures, killing those who cannot be controlled or intimidated.
A hatchling green dragon's scales are thin, very small, and a deep shade of green that appears nearly black. As the dragon ages, the scales grow larger and become lighter, turning shades of forest, emerald, and olive green, which helps it blend in with its wooded surroundings. A green dragon's scales never become as thick as other dragons', remaining smooth and flexible.
Some sages believe a green dragon might be a hybrid of the blue dragon and the salt dragon.
Their favorite food is elves. Like most dragons they can live for over 1000 years, see in the dark, sense the presence of invisible things, are immune to sleep and hold spells, and have large wings which allow flight.
