Conversion Notes: This package represents the minimum abilities of a young (16 to 25 year old) white dragon from the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons role playing game. This write-up uses Champions 5th edition rules.
White dragons are one of the smaller, weaker and dumber of the common dragon types. Although it can survive in any climate, it prefers frozen tundra and arctic regions. They can breath a cone of icy cold or attack with their powerful claws and bite.
Although generally considered an evil race of dragons, player characters can play any alignment. The major enemies of the white dragon include silver dragons, who are generally much more powerful unless the white dragons is much older the the silver in question. They are also rivals to gray dragons.
They are impulsive, vicious, and animalistic, tending to consider only the needs and emotions of the moment and having no foresight or regret. Despite their low intelligence, they are as greedy and evil as the other evil dragons. The scales of a hatchling white dragon are a mirror-like glistening ground. As the dragons ages, the sheen disappears, and by the time it reaches the very old stage, scales of pale blue and light gray are mixed in with the white.
Their favorite food is frozen meat. Like most dragons they can live for over 1000 years, sense the presence of invisible things, see in the dark, are immune to sleep and hold spells, and have large wings which allow flight. The white dragon is one of the faster flying dragons.
