Washyuu(Washu): The Kawaii Scientist

In the beginning, there were three goddesses of the planet Jurai. The eldest was Lady Tokimi, given to the Darkness. The youngest was Tsunami, bound to the ways of the Light. The middle goddess was inclined to both the Light and the Dark, and, thus, was the most human of the three. This goddess' name was Washyuu. A little over 20,000 years ago, this goddess denied her deity-status and descended to the planet of Jurai. She placed her powers and memories into several small red power gems, which would become of import many centuries later on.
Curious and intrigued with the ways of mortals, Washyuu set about making a life for herself amongst the Juraians, joining the Galactic Science Academy. Due to her vast scientific knowledge and astronomical IQ, she eventually became the Dean. It was during her years at the Acadamy, however, that her downfall would begin.
While teaching at the academy, Washyuu fell in love with one of her students, a minor noble of Jurai. She married her student and had a son. However, her husband's family viewed her as inferior and unworthy of being a member of the family, as she was 'born a mere commoner.' With that, they abducted Washyuu's husband and son, never to be seen again.
Viewing the world of adults as selfishly cruel and unreasoningly senseless, Washyuu vowed to never be an adult again. Thus, she changed herself into a pre-teen form and threw herself totally into her work. However, the unusual nature of her experiments soon drew the disdain of her colleagues and they dismissed her from the academy.
This did not cause Washyuu to cease her studies, however. She joined efforts with another of her students, Kagato, and continued her experiments. One of these experiments was the creation of a new child for her, a daughter she named Ryoko. Ryoko was formed from Washyuu's egg and a protoplasmic life-form known as the Masu. In addition, Ryoko was given many powerful abilities, drawing upon Washyuu's power gems to provide the energy necessary to perform them.
Shortly after Ryoko's 'birth', Kagato sealed Washyuu away in a stasis chamber and set upon a mission of revenge and domination over the galaxy by mind-controlling and brain-washing Ryoko. Ryoko's attacks against Jurai ended, however, when the Crown Prince of Jurai Yoshou battled her. Their battle crossed the galaxy until they came to the planet earth, where Ryoko was sealed away for 700 years.
If it had not been for Tenchi Masaki, this story would have ended in tragedy. However, Tenchi would later on release Ryoko in present-day Japan. This would draw Kagato to earth, seeking to reclaim domination over Ryoko. Tenchi fought Kagato to save Ryoko from Kagato's control, his friends accompanying him. One of these friends, the Galaxy Police Officer Mihoshi, would stumble across Washyuu's stasis chamber and release her. After Kagato's defeat by Tenchi and his friends, Ryoko and Washyuu would be reunited when they both came to live at the Masaki household.
Currently Washyuu is trying to re-establish a mother-daughter relationship with an untrusting Ryoko. Washyuu is also vastly intrigued with Tenchi and his ability to summon the Wings of the Light Hawk and is trying many unorthodox means to obtain information on how he does this. It is even possible that she has also succumbed to Tenchi's pure-hearted charm. This has caused Washyuu's relationship with Ryoko to be more strained, as Ryoko has fallen totally in love with Tenchi.
