Early days. Krupa is the daughter of the hotelier Stefan Krupa. In 1986 she moved to Chicago, Illinois with her mother and two younger sisters- Marta and Carlina The city's West Side was a big Polish Community so the family settled there. For several years, Joanna attended a Polish school before enrolling in a local community college in nearby Lombard, Illinois. However, she soon dropped out to pursue a career in modeling.
Career. Krupa has appeared on various magazine covers including FHM, Personal, Inside Sport, Stuff, Steppin' Out, Teeze, Maxim, in which she was named the Sexiest Swimsuit Model in the World. Maxim named her #61 in its 2006 Hot 100 list. She was also voted German Maxim's Model of the Year 2004-2005. She posed nude in July 2005 issue of Playboy. She was a "Juggy Dancer" on The Man Show for a brief period of time. She enjoys playing poker and is currently the official spokesperson for Titan Poker, an online poker room. Krupa also did a nude photoshoot for animal rights group PETA. The advertisements all have "I would rather go naked than wear fur" as a motto. Krupa has been quoted as saying, "There is nothing sexy about wearing something that is so obviously tied to senseless pain and killing." She was a Miss Howard TV model for the month of December 2007. She was the featured Model of the Week in Askmen.com. The Australian bestselling magazine TV Media voted her one of the Top 10 Supermodels of 2004. As a model, she has done runway work and has represented such companies as Sketchers shoes, Venus Swimwear, Dollhouse Clothing, and Fredericks of Hollywood. Krupa has also appeared in practically every fashion magazine and men's magazine available. She currently lives in Los Angeles, California and also has a house in Miami, Florida. She speaks fluent Polish and is best friends with the reality show Joe Millionaire contestant Sarah Kozer.
