Early days. Cielecka spent her childhood in Zarki-Letnisko. She finished the Mikolaj Kopernik Memorial High school in Czestochowa. In 1995, she graduated from Panstwowa Wyzsza Szkola Teatralna in Cracow.
Career. Soon after the studies she joined the Teatr Stary Theatre Company in Cracow, where she played until 2001. Then she moved to Warsaw and joined the Teatr Rozmaitosci (TR Warszawa) Theatre Company. Although she debuted in cinema quite early in the film Pokuszenie (1995), she initially was known mainly for her work in theater. A few years later she became widely recognized as an actress and she gained popularity with her cinematic roles such as Samotnosc w sieci or the TV series Magda M. but first and foremost with her stage roles. From 2008 she is a member of the theater group Nowy Teatr in Warsaw. She performed in New York (Dybuk, 2004; Krum 2007), Avignon (France),Belgium and in 2008 in Edinburgh (Scotland) where she got enthusiastic reviews (see at the top). In 2006 she participated in the festival of Polish films in Seattle and in 2008 she presented two films in London. Her notable roles include: Witold Gombrowicz - Operetka; Edward Bond - Saved; The Dybbuk, 2004; Krum, 2007; Sarah Kane - 4.48 Psychosis; Manuela Gretkowska - Sandra K.
