Early days. She is a graduate of XLVI Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace im. Stefana Czarnieckiego(high school nr.XLVI) in Warsaw. She studied zoology at the SGGW( Agricultural University). She finished graduate journalism studies at the Warsaw University and then she practiced at Polish Radio I in a program for farmers.

Career. During the Martial Law in 1982 she started working for then communist controlled Polish Radio III and stayed there until 2000. She became popular thanks to her interviews with politicians and other public individuals in Salon Polityczny Trojki (Political Salon of Channel 3). In the late 1980-ties she run together with her then husband, Grzegorz Wasowski, the program Nie tylko dla orlow (Not for the eagles only). In TVN Television she worked on the program Kropka nad i (Dot over i). Since January 2001 she worked for Radio ZET in Gosc Radia ZET (Guest of Radio ZET) and in a Sunday program, Siodmy dzien tygodnia (Seventh Day of the week). Since September 2004 till July 2006 she was an interviewer for Prosto w oczy (Straight into the eyes), a program on Polish Television Channel TVN24. Since September 2006 she runs again the program Kropka nad i . Together with Agnieszka Kublik she prepares interviews, Dwie na jednego (Two against one) for Gazeta Wyborcza. 25 such interviews were published in a book form in 2007. She has a son, Jerzy, with her former husband Grzegorz Wasowski.

Prizes and awards. 1995 "Wiktor"'s prize; 1998 Grand Press prize; 1999 elected the "woman of the year" by the pool of "Twoj Styl" monthly.
