The auction got started with the Make-A-Wish folks explaining where the money goes. Luckily, the video was an upbeat one this time (the one from the night before had us all crying). "Boomer," the dog from Singularity whose appearance in the ep was part of a Wish, was on-hand to get the party started. Here, Jr offers his mike to Boomer.

Colin announced he had something to pass on to Jake (a 12-year-old Stargate fan who got to visit the set as his Wish) and he came out with a gruesome head prop from The X-Files. Here, Jr does the unveiling honours (it took him 2 tries).

The first auction item of the night was Hathor's wig, modelled by the lovely Corin Nemec. He had fun tossing his hair and working the runway.

On a side note, Jr and Corin seemed to get along really well. I saw them entering the auto room together, had to wait for them to get done chatting before I could get Jr's autograph (not that I minded), and they also were chatting away as they left the hotel on Sunday night.

Colin worked the crowd while modelling Jack's dress hat.

After declaring that Sam's jacket still smelled like her, Jr spent some time snuggling with and talking to it. After adjusting the coat in the chest region, he put his hands on his hips and declared "I'm Amanda Tapping!" He also pointed out that the coat being auctioned off was Sam's and it was now being worn "by her lover!"

One item auctioned off was a teddy bear with a Tshirt signed by several cast members. Corin hawked the teddy around giving us another incentive to want the item because, as Jr put it, "you can think of Corin snuggling the teddy."

Colin modelled Sam's sling. As the bidding got higher, Jr said they would all lick the sling. Another offer was mentioned by the audience... $400 if Colin and Jr would kiss. Colin obliged by walking to the stage, offering the seemingly reluctant Jr a hand down, and dipping him for a kiss. Jr responded by dipping Colin and laying one back on him.

Here, Boomer models Jonas' hat. As Corin said, he could tell it was his hat because he bends it in the middle to give it that nice Southern look.

Jr's original artwork ("see dog go through the gate") went for a good price. One of the stipulations of the bid was that all the actors/actresses had to put on lipstick and kiss the print. They took turns putting it on each other (while the speakers played a song from Flashdance). When Alex's lips left a perfect imprint, Corin said proudly "I put that on him! That's my application!"

While auctioning off Teal'c's sleveeless shirt, Colin started to put it on over his own shirt. Jr told him "No! No! No! The shirt has to come off!" Ever modest, Colin covers his nipples.

Frida wanted Colin to demonstrate how he did his "thing" with the bandanas that he was famous for wearing. Here, Colin demonstrates with one of Daniel's, autographed by MS. "Not MJ," Frida added because earlier Jr had accidentally blended the actor and character by reading a signature as "Michael Jackson."

It's long been an invention of Colin's that Major Davis' underwear of choice is pantyhose. At the auction, Jr asked him to prove it. As a result, we got a great show and even greater pictures....

Corin modelled one of Jonas' fatigue shirts. He explained that he had them taken in at the sides for a more fitted look, because he wanted to look good in his uniform. (And boy does he!)

Jr never wants to take off his hat. (In 2002, in fact, he only did so because someone bid $1000 to his charity if he would do so) He'd been wearing a black ballcap all day, except when he went to do a somersault (wearing O'Neill's jacket) the hat flew off his head and we got a good look at his hair anyway.

While auctioning off a quilt of Daniel quotes, Jr and Corin decided to try it out. They laid down on the podium and covered up with the quilt. Later, Frida and Alex had a turn as well...

During the panels on Sunday, Corin and the other actors helped auction off some remaining items. When it was all said and done, Gatecon hit the US$100,000 mark for total contributions to Make-A-Wish, and helped make a lot of kids' dreams come true.
