Author Speaks:
Writing has always been more of a hobby to me than a strongly pursued interest.
I write because I feel moved to not for any external reason.
I write more to find out what happens in the stories that begin in my head than to please any one else.
Mostly I write poetry but every now and again a short story creeps in.
I have had a poem published in the National Library of Poetry , in 1992.
My main reason for not pursuing writing as more than a hobby is that it is the only art form that is a vacation to me.
I am an art student interested in many forms of visual arts spanning from drawing and painting to graphic design.
That is where most of my, ”driven to create energy” goes so I have decided to leave writing to be nothing more than personal enjoyment rather than something I am daily working at to hone my skills.
"Insanity Is Just A Legal Term Anyway" started as an exercise when a friend of mine suggested writing a story the way a still life painter paints.
This was the merging of my interest in the visual arts and my muse driven need to write.
The subject matter that I write about varies since my writing is more driven by inspiration than anything else.
A few lines will start in my head and I will just have to find out where it goes from there.
The draw back to this style of writing is that it is very sporadic and very unpredictable, however, the benefit is that when inspiration hits me I am always taken on an interesting journey lead by the story itself.
Stories and visual arts are always a mirror reflecting at least a little of what the creator is like, through them we find ideas that sometimes mirror our own and bring us closer together.
Other times they challenge us or flat out argue with what we believe, but what ever the case is they are inspirational and the best ones leave us thinking and just a little bit different than we were when we began reading them.
