Chad

The night was Wednesday, August 30. I was at a prayer meeting and felt led to lift Chad up in prayer. A prayer request was also sent to our Lord's loyal intercessors.

It was Chad's 21st birthday and I knew he had a night of partying planned. His dad was taking him out first, then he was meeting two of his siblings and friends. This was the long awaited party.

The following day I received a call from one of his sisters. She didn't make the party, yet she was given the pieces of the night as it unraveled.

As the night 'peaked', Chad was drunk and feeling sick. He was asking his older sister for a ride home. In an inebriatated state herself, she stated that it was his "legal birthday" and he still had partying to do. Their night ended, so did the final bar. She finally took him home and deposited him on his kitchen floor.

Time passed, no one knows how much time. Chad's roommate came home and found Chad on the floor, basicly drowning in his own vomit. He was able to get him turned over, so that he could throw up. When the EMT's arrived, they said that the roommate saved his life. The one stated that within 20 minutes, Chad would have been dead.

The roommate was dumbfounded. He was going to go to another party and for some reason, had an overwhelming urge to see if Chad was home.

I know that this was truly an answer to prayer and that the Lord does have something in mind for Chad. Does Chad realize all that happened? I am doubtful, for you see Chad isn't saved, so please put him in your prayers. Yet this was truly a miracle - this was "Jesus Hand At Work", or Chad wouldn't be with us today. Thank YOU Jesus!
