To Live Life

Ah, to live life
Means to be alive
To be among the living
Is what we strive

But oh, to live life
In the valley of death
To be in the shadows
To hold our breath

Is it the living
Or the dead
Is there hope
Or only dread

Who are these people
That cloud our minds
That move among us
Whose shadow blinds

Oh God have mercy
Please free our souls
To live in Your grace
Is just one of our goals
