CHRISTMAS 2000 FOR ROMANIA (NEEDS LIST)
SPECIAL SHOES AND SOCKS PROJECT:

One of the greatest needs for street kids, for the orphanages, and the gypsy children is shoes. They are constantly asking for shoes and socks. If you would like to help provide a new pair of sports (tennis) shoes or boots for a child in need and a pair of socks, we can buy them here in Romania for about $10 - $15 per pair (depending on the size). In the State orphanage system, there are thousands of children with raggedy shoes. They would so love a new pair of shoes and socks for Christmas. We will deliver them ourselves to make sure they are not taken by the orphanage workers.

Thank you all so much for your acts of concern and kindness.

Proverbs 19:17 "He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward him bountifully.”

I have "known" Sue for over a year, via communications over the internet. She frequently sends updates regarding the orphanage, street kids, etc... She has been in my prayers for a long time. I carry a burden for these in Romania and hope that we can help provide a Merry Christmas for them!
