Each year we follow the tradition of watching It’s A Wonderful Life on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. So beginning that Wednesday, we are "allowed" to watch IAWL every day (if we want) until New Years Day. That day is the final day we can watch the movie til Thanksgiving Eve. All year long we talk about the movie and obviously have much memorabilia throughout the house to keep us content until the holiday season. We feel that because of it's powerful messages, IAWL should watched seasonly - during the holidays.
