1. Is "gaijin" a bad word?

The Japanese word, "gaijin" is not a bad word, it is what you make of it! A kid may say "Aa, gaijin da!" {"Ah, it's a foreigner!"} amazed at the sight of a foreigner but then again, "gaijin san" is a role!

2. Why don't you capitalize your Japanese words like English?

Japanese written as romaji (Roman letters)/romanize/transliterate is not normally capitalized. But if you need clarification on a word, email us!

3. Why does not the rest of the web wake up and understand that starting people or advanced people studying Japanese may not know what a certain word is?

I do not know, but you can check Japanese Words For the Average Web Surfer to see if you can find the word you are looking for! If you cannot, email us with the word and we may be able to help!
