I had the good fortune to be a member of The Stanton Anderson Band from 1979 to 1982. Those were great days on Long Island with bands like Twisted Sister, Zebra, The Good Rats and Stanton, with places in the tri-state area to play like Tuey's, Rumbottoms, Speaks, Hammerheads, The Boardy Barn, Detroit's, and even The Glen Island Casino, not to mention The Calderone, The Nassau Coliseum and The Garden State Art Center. There were many special dates to me during that time period and still 20 years later I am proud to have been part of that scene.... and a part of Stanton. I salute the band.... Mark Fowler, Rick Silecchio, Bobby Bradley, Larry Luby, John Kraft, Lloyd Landisman, Linda Mackley, Adam Calaci and Bobby Simons................ but most of all I salute the fans. /Dec 31, 1978...I jammed with the band for the first time at Solomon Grundy's Clipper /Jan 11, 1979...at Tuey's...I began filling in for the ailing Mike Nugent /Feb 13, 1979...
