Amara Ten'ou/Sailor Uranus

Amara is an interesting character, she is the ultimate tomboy. She dresses like a guy, adores motorcycles and racecars and other guy stuff. She even likes, well, girls, if you get my drift. For a while the scouts didn't know that Amara was a girl, and Mina and Serena thought 'he' was a hottie. She is really smart, she attends Mugen High School with Michelle.

Unfortunately, in the American dub the relationship between Amara and Michelle, Sailor Neptune, was screwed up royally. The dub claims the two are very close cousins, but in the Japanese they are certainly not related. They are very close, though, VERY close. In the "happy" way, heh heh... Sailor Uranus was awakened when Michelle (Sailor Neptune) told Amara about her destiny as a Sailor Scout. Amara was reluctant to become a scout until Neptune risked her life for her in battle . From then on, the two were nearly inseperable, always together. They care about each other 'that way,' and even though they don't show they're affection physically (or at least not in public), the love is there.

Neptune and Uranus's mission is to find the 3 Crystal Treasures (talismans), which are stored in the pure hearts of 3 humans. Unfortunatly, in order to remove the pure heart the human must die. Uranus considered this as only a small price to pay to get the job done. When the 3 crystal treasures join together, they form the Purity Chalice (Holy Grail). If the Holy Grail is in the hands of the true Sovereign (Messiah), the whole universe will be peaceful forever. But if it falls into the wrong hands, the Silence (the end of the world) will take place. Uranus and Neptune soon found that 2 of the talismans were in their own pure hearts. They actually died so the talismans could be removed, but their pure hearts were replaced afterwards. Uranus's talisman was the Space Sword, and she uses it to attack.

As an Outer Scout, Sailor Uranus's duty durring the Silver Millenium was to protect the Moon Kingdom from invaders from outside the Solar System. Because of this specail task, the Outer Scouts are much more powerful than the Inners. They often had to fight the invaders alone because of the great distances between the Outer Planets, so the Outer Scouts usually tend to themselves(Amara and Michelle are an acception). In fact, the Outer Scouts rarely even talk to the Inner Scouts outside of battle. Sailor Uranus has the power of Wind and Air, though you'd never be able to tell because her powers have nothing to do with either.

Uranus World Shaking!	World Shaking!		Uranus opens her hand above her head and grabs a ball of light. She holds the light above her head, the rays shining between her fingers. Then she bends down and slams the ball of light against the ground, sending an earthquake towards the enemy.
N/A	Space Sword Blaster!		Sailor Uranus holds her hand above her head, and her Space Sword materializes and she grabs onto it. She slashes the Sword at the enemy, sending beams of powerful energy at it.
